👩🍳 What is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)?
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) is a flagship scheme of the Government of India launched on 1 May 2016 by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The scheme provides free LPG (cooking gas) connections to eligible women from poor households, helping them shift from traditional fuels like wood, coal, dung cakes, and crop waste to clean cooking fuel.
