ABOUT US
Overview
Investing in women’s empowerment and building voices that create change
Awaz‑e‑Khwateen is a women‑led collective committed to amplifying the voices, rights, and leadership of women from marginalized communities. Our work is rooted in the belief that when women are heard, supported, and equipped with opportunities, they become powerful agents of social transformation.
We work at the intersection of education, rights awareness, leadership development, and community engagement to create safe, inclusive, and enabling spaces for women and girls. Through advocacy, storytelling, capacity‑building, and dialogue, Awaz‑e‑Khwateen strives to challenge inequality and build a more just and compassionate society.
Our approach centres women’s lived realities and experiences, ensuring that empowerment is not symbolic but meaningful, sustainable, and community‑driven.

Journey
Awaz‑e‑Khwateen was founded with the purpose of creating a strong, independent platform for women’s voices — particularly those often unheard or misrepresented. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a collective working across awareness, advocacy, education, and storytelling.
From community conversations and awareness campaigns to digital media initiatives, workshops, and public dialogues, our journey reflects a commitment to listening, learning, and evolving with the women we work alongside.
We focus on addressing issues such as gender inequality and social exclusion, access to education and opportunities for girls, awareness of constitutional and legal rights, representation of women in media and public discourse, and leadership and confidence-building among young women. Our work continues to expand through partnerships, volunteers, and community allies who share our vision of justice and empowerment.
